Stonewell is Ireland’s ONLY Supreme Champion premium cider. Made with ONLY fresh apple juice by a small team in Cork, Ireland, it is free of all artificial additives & colourings. An international multi-award winning cider with quality second to none.
The salty sea air doesn’t favour apple trees and so all of the apples that go into his Irish craft cider are bought from Irish farmers in the counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Tipperary & Cork. The principal cider maker, Daniel knows these farmers personally and this ensures he understands the care with which these crops are nurtured and grown – a fact which is hugely important given it is his sole principal ingredient and he's committed to producing a natural cider with integrity.
When the apples arrive his small team of traditional Irish cider makers wash and manually sort them, removing any which they consider over-ripe or damaged. This helps him in his goal to achieve a pristine pressed juice. He adds a final ingredient, a naturally cultured champagne yeast which gives his Irish craft cider such a distinguished “nose” and smoothness on the palate.

This is a classic cider with a wonderful fresh apple juice aroma and effervescence that tickles the nose. The cider gives an initial burst of sweet apple flavour on the palate followed by citrus and woody notes derived from the bittersweet and Jonagored apples used as the base ciders.
This carbonated cider is best enjoyed as a refreshing thirst quencher, chilled to 7 degrees (watch the ice – whilst it will maintain the chill it can conceal the full flavour!).

Rós was born in 2016 when a local farmer approached us with rhubarb that he was growing and suggested we might like to consider using it. We said yes but then discovered getting juice out of a stick of rhubarb is exceptionally challenging.
We managed it in the end but boy was it tough. We ferment the rhubarb on its own into a rhubarb wine. We blend this with eating apple cider and sweeten it with fresh juice. The result is a tart cider with an abundance of rhubarb on the nose lush apple on the palate and a smooth long after taste.
